Without a healthy environment, we would not be able
to produce healthy fish.
Solar Panels
Using state of the art solar panels, we have been able to significantly reduce our carbon footprint. Solar power is used for water pumping, ice production and cold storage. Maleka Farms has set the example for sustainable Tilapia production in Ghana.
Future:
To help us tread more lightly, we have plans to rely fully on solar power.

Donations
We sponsor and contribute to many aspects of the community and environment. By developing local human capital, we can create a more sustainable future.
Education:
Maleka Farms donates to the faculty of agriculture at Ghana University. Students are provided samples directly from the farm for their studies.
Community:
Other then generating jobs throughout the country, we have rebuilt the 100 year old Akuse Police Station. See more from opening daythe inaugeration ceremony
Education
Maleka Farms LTD is dedicated to helping the education of future generations.
Field Trips:
Local schools are invited to the farm to observe our procedures. Students are taught about the lifecycle of Tilapia.
